Australian Federal Election 2025:
Tibet Policy Scorecard
Australia Tibet Council does not endorse or support any candidates or parties. We provide this scorecard to allow our supporters to compare the Tibet related policies of the different political parties.
Which parties did we ask?
We sent letters requesting answers on four significant policy matters relating to Tibetan human rights to parties running candidates in seats of interest to ATC’s supporters and the Tibetan community. These are: the Animal Justice Party, Australian Citizens Party, Australian Greens, Australian Labor Party, Fusion Party, Gerard Rennick People First, HEART Party, Legalise Cannabis Party, Liberal Party, Libertarian Party of Australia, National Party, Pauline Hanson’s One Nation, Shooters, Fishers and Farmers Party, Socialist Alliance, and Trumpet of Patriots.
Responses to our specific questions
We have only included parties on the scorecard that have provided a written response to our questions. If a party we have written to does not appear in this scorecard, it has not responded with a party position.
Publicly available policies on Tibet
Only two parties have published policies on Tibet as of April 2025.
