Appeal: Our Voice is Our Truth – Despite China’s transnational repression, Tibetans in Australia will not be silenced
They escaped from Tibet because speaking the truth meant surveillance, arrest, imprisonment, and torture – for seeking the return of the Dalai Lama, for preserving Tibetan language, for wishing a life with dignity and basic human rights. And still, here in Australia, the shadow of the Chinese Government looms over them. We cannot allow this repression to cross our borders unchecked.
