Our preferred membership program is called Voice For Tibet – this monthly giving program that provides us with the most reliable source of funding for our work for a free Tibet.
By renewing your annual membership, you join a dedicated group of Tibet supporters powering our campaigns.
You can help shape the direction of the organisation by standing for board positions, lead volunteering activities and get early access to events and news.

Not On Our Watch – Cultural Genocide in Tibet
Australia cannot stand idle and risk a future Stolen Generation of Tibetan children, ATC will act to ensure this issue is front and centre for Australian parliamentarians and not ignored as China seeks to resume trade and other relations with Australia.
Protecting Tibetan Religious Identity
Calling for a commitment that Australian leaders will only recognise the future reincarnation of the Dalai Lama as chosen by Tibetans, under the principles of Tibetan Buddhism and traditional methodology.
Political Advocacy
We drive global support for the Tibet movement by lobbying Australian parliamentarians. We ensure our decision makers get accurate information and take a principled stand on Tibet.

Our Board of Directors is elected every two years. All Voice For Tibet donors and Legacy Members* are eligible to nominate.
A call for nominations will be sent to members with all the relevant details ahead of the year’s Annual General Meeting.
*Legacy Members
They are our annual and life members before our Voice For Tibet membership program. We are in the process of transitioning the Legacy Members to the Voice For Tibet program. Some have remained annual members.
Members are required to support the purposes and objectives as set out in ATC’s Constitution.
ATC’s Board encourages all Tibetans in Australia to apply for membership of ATC. Our work to promote and defend human rights in Tibet is for and because of the Tibetan people. Membership of ATC is free-of-charge for Tibetans. Email us at tibet.council@atc.org.au if interested.
